Name:
Prototype Artillery Mobil suit Guntank Rx75-4
Pilots: Hayato Kobayashi and Kai Shiden
Height: 15,6 m
Full Weight:
80t
Ground speed: 70 kph
Driving system: Like a real army tank.
Material: Lunar Alloy (Titanium)
Weapons: Cannon 180mm, Quad
Bopp Rocket Launcher 40mm
Notes: Guntank is with Gundam and Guncannon one of the most
famous Mobil suit of Gundam saga. It's very particular because it's
the missing link between a tank and a human-shape robot. In these
days here in Italy there is a new Manga about Gundam. The author
is Kakuhisa Kondo a famous mangaka and artist. I will upgrade this
model adding all the details that are missing in the original version.

| Technical notes:
|
|
|
Dimensions:
points 46.016 polygons 29.705
The head has: points 1.916 polygons 1.499
Techniques: Very simple! I used only
simple shape and lots of extrude and bevel commands.
What lacks: Sign and write on the surfaces
and details.
At this moment the model is the same of the 1979's anime. A revised
version will come soon
My biggest problems: I had no problems
because I used a real Bandai plastic model of the Mobil suit as
reference. |

| The original and
the revised robot |
| The first
picture comes from the anime of the 1979. The other comes from che
manga of Kazuhisa Kondo, now published in Italy were I live. |
