Description
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bg_Stretch and Bg_UScale are plugins for Lightwave8 Modeler, they
have similar functions. Both are used to scale and stretch an
object in foreground so that it will have the dimensions of an
object in background.
Bg_Stretch let you scale each axys indipendently (X, Y, Z).
Bg_UScale let you choose only one axys, the objects will be scaled
along that axys, it will be scaled of the same factor also on
the other axys so that it will not loose proportions.
Instructions
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This plugin has been tested on Lightwave8
bg= background
fg= foreground
Select a fg layer and a bg layer. If the layers are empty nothing
will happen. Objects can also be two-dimensional.
When the plugins start the object in fg will be centered respect
the object in bg.
Bg_Stretch
Click one or more axys. For example, if I choose the Y axys my
fg object will be tall as the bg object.
Bg_UScale
You can choose only one axys. For example if I choose the X axys
my fg object will be large as the bg object. The fg object will
be also scaled along Y and Z so that the final proportion will
be the same of the initial proportion (if it was a perfect sphere,
it will be a perfect sphere without stretching).
Warnings: You will need lots of undos when working with these
plugins.
I suggest you to raise the number of undos of Modeler to avoid
problems (press "o")
